OB-GYN care for women of all ages:

  • Well-Woman Care: this area encompasses many things, including, but not limited to: annual physical exams (pap smears, mammogram scheduling, and breast exams), osteoporosis prevention, smoking cessation counseling, weight management, health and well being, and other women's issues.
  • Adolescent Gynecology: in this field, many issues can arise, including: puberty, menstrual issues, sexually transmitted disease screening and treatment, birth control options, and other issues that may arise through a young woman's life.
  • Birth control: helping patients choose the right method of birth control and informing them of how it works, how to use it, and what the side effects may be and monitoring their usage.
  • Preconception counseling: our physicians will discuss those concerns that patients may have before they conceive, including: keeping fit, eating wisely, avoiding things that could be harmful to one's body, what to expect, body changes and other pertinent information.
  • Routine & high-risk pregnancy care: regular appointments for pregnancy care, continuously monitoring high risk pregnancies, performing ultrasounds, in-house testing, 24/7 on call services, and delivery by our staff of physicians.
  • Infertility assessment: aggressively monitoring patients, insuring that appropriate hormone levels are maintained, and referrals to infertility specialists when necessary
  • PMS & pelvic pain management: medication monitoring, hormone replacement therapy when needed, and counseling from our knowledgeable staff
  • Minimally invasive surgery
    • Colposcopy: looking at the cervix through a special magnifying device. This allows our physicians to better identify problems that may not be visible upon regular examinations.
    • Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure: a procedure used to remove abnormal cells from the cervix.
    • Laparoscopy: a procedure that allows the physician to look directly into the abdomen and at the reproductive organs. This procedure can be useful in diagnosing and treating many gynecologic problems.
    • Hysteroscopy: a procedure that allows the physician to look inside the uterus with a thin, telescope-like device. It may be used to both help with diagnosis and treatment of uterine problems.
    • Sterilization by Laparoscopy: a permanent procedure that is used for women who no longer want to have children.
  • Menopausal care: helping patients cope with the physical changes that occur around menopause so that they can continue to live healthy and happy lives.
  • Urinary Incontinence treatment: treatment for leakage of urine when it becomes frequent or severe enough to become a problem.
  • Sexual dysfunction care: physicians monitor medication and counsel patients in this area
  • Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery
